a note from the artist
With a seamstress mother and contractor father, my work is inspired by the flexible, woven qualities of textiles, juxtaposed against structure and rigidity of building materials.
Textured layers, joyful color, and a mix of freeform and geometric shapes, my art aims to embody the disciplines of my parents and the two worlds I was raised in.
After a decade living in Boston, I returned home to Connecticut where my husband and I raise our daughter (and Sheltie).
